john..."credibilty" "perception"....all them other words which the "faithful" can't handle.... the "silence of the dells" has caused extreme damage to the stock going forward, unless arrogant "mikey" can "mea culpa" the market..........there is no credibility, ceos have shareholder responsibility to guide and support the stock...never used to be that way, but sure is now...if "mikey" wants to live in a vacuum, then let the company buy all the shares back, and take it private......"mikey" refuses to play the "street game".......that's why the stock has performed poorly... my prediction...ibm, cpq, and others who have claimed y2k will see their share price move forward, as the "perfect dell" has validated this once in a thousand year anomaly. dell, however for their lack of honesty, and earlier affirming "y2k....what's that?" will be punished.... looks like niles more in tune then the zealots....faith at times can blind the vision of reality....
