I expect that at the very least VISX be in the mix. In fact, I expect them to be near the top of the mix. But the problem is knowing how to evaluate VISX. Eyes are a very important organ. And this operation being entirely discretionary, most people will insist on someone they trust (for whatever the reason). If the doctors are already too busy to accept new patients and the rate of acceptance of new doctors is minimal, then so is VISX's growth, as is their stock potential. Now I don't know to what extent this is true. I am just clarifying the some of the fears behind the sell off. A similar argument holds for pricing pressures, i.e. how will it affect the stock and how do you evaluate it.
