On another matter, a good friend of mine (thanks Norm), just provided me with the gist of certain of Greenspan's comments in his speech this afternoon. Seems he thinks that the current massive margin debt has little to do with the current stock prices. If anyone has a URL to his speech, it would be appreciated. I am writing a piece at the moment which might well benefit from a quote from our beloved "national treasure" (as one senator referred to him). Best, Earlie
