Just my opinion.

I know Intel doesn't like to make statements about it's business. And, in general, I agree with their policy.

But we now have two of Intel's largest customers warning about earnings, and blaming Intel. Not only is this (allegedly) a black eye for Intel as far as being a reliable supplier, but they have removed millions of dollars from the market cap of these companies.

Maybe it's a good time for a little positive public relations. Come out with a clear, concise statement of where they are in capacity and meeting the demands of their customers. The hoops they are jumping through. When they feel they will be able to meet demand.

I am sure they are communicating this information to their customers, but it might not be a bad idea to come clean to the end users and to the investment community.

It couldn't hurt. Right now, they are everybody's whipping boy. Sometimes some humble honesty goes a long way.
