You previously indicated that you were making efforts to attract more institutional investors. Can you provide information on your progress in that regard?

A company's shareholder base ideally is made up of a combination of individual investors, institutional investors and insiders. In WaveRider's case the majority of our shares have been held by individual shareholders and over the last 12 months we have actively presented our story to institutional investors. It's important to remember that many institutions will not invest in the early stages of a company's development.

With the progress we have made in the last year in terms of sales and product development, as well as the recent $10 million financing, we are pleased to welcome several well known institutions from Canada and the U.S. as WaveRider shareholders. To name just a few, Legg Mason Capital Management of Baltimore (www.leggmasonfunds.com) manages a family of mutual funds and tends to focus on technology, telecommunications, and financial stocks. Legg Mason has been a WaveRider shareholder since before September of 1999. Also, a number of mutual funds participated in our recent financing. The Scotia Canadian Small Cap Fund (www.scotiabank.ca/funds) and three of the University Avenue Funds (http://globefunddb.theglobeandmail.com/gishome/plsql/gis.fund_pro?fundname=University+Avenue+Cdn+Small+Cap) are further examples of new funds that have decided that WaveRider represents an attractive investment for capital appreciation.
