Why thank you. I worked on that for hours, but I didn't figure it had attained the level of Proust.

Anyone see the 3-minute Nightly Business Report spot on Sun and the Solaris 8 launch? If not, you should try to catch it or look at a transcript. Brushed aside M$FT and W2K; had an E.D. Jones analyst saying "SUNW, CISCO, EMC...they're providing the infrastructure for the new economy and you've got to own them." Showed a chart with some kind of IT managers survey of OS reliability, with SUNW first with a 95+ score and Microsoft last of six with a 45+ score.

If not for Dell, I think that spot all by itself would be enough to make SUNW rise tomorrow. We need a few more of those.
