BCE/NT: - interesting situation: -
BCE - Bell Canada basically, is spinning off its ownership of NT (Nortel Network). Each BCE shareholder will get 1 share of new BCE and .78 shares of NT. Both stocks are approximately $100. So that means that the remaining BCE investment is worth $22. BCE is the largest telephone co in Canada, and has large investments in other companies (originally owned all of NT). Many of these BCE owned companies are in the internet area. biz.yahoo.com hmmm.
