We suspect why, but you deny those suspicions, as does PB." Bill, as you know I have said here before I am under NDA with Intel so I am limited in what I say. Everything I have seen is completely consistent with what PB has said. I have seen no evidence of any yield problems whatsoever and I have seen the numbers. I believe the problem is simply huge demand. Intel is shipping millions of CuMines and yet still not meeting demand. You see this as evidence of a yield or manufacturing problem. I do not agree. Record processor shipments can only happen when there is record demand. Intel is doing everything possible to expand their capacity yet still meet the requirements of those products which do not use the latest .18u process. The ramp IS happening and it is the fastest ramp in Intel's history, but because of demand it's still not enough. The shipment numbers speak for themselves. We are experiencing a market of historical proportions. Nobody fully anticipated this. EP
