Yes, that makes sense. In fact, the Fort Lee area is known to have Italian American roots (now-a-days the population of Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese is increasing, especially the Koreans, with the Japanese declining a bit over the past five years as a result of their long term relatively rough economic times), and the last time I was in a Japanese restaurant there with my wife singing "San Francisco" so badly at the karaoke bar that the owner turned down the volume with a sour look on his face <G>, they were telling me about the old "mafia connections" that once "ruled" the town in the old days. Lamb chop = "butt-head"!
One of my grandfathers was Italian, and I did'nt know that, probably because the term is relatively new. At least Maria learned her lesson well not to say any cuss words while waiting to go on camera (they always tell live TV people to be on guard for such things, so better to be safe rather then sorry), unlike poor Sonny Fox of "Wonderama" fame who got tossed for saying bad things while thinking he was off camera...
