patsy....management didn't give lower forward guidance...they said "y2k, it's ok".........and then warned at the last moment....lower guidance could have worked to dell benefit if it was given far enough in advance....when you deny, then admit, it creates a credibility gap....with the "perfect" model they know exactly where they are, and surprises shouldn't be sprung upon good folks like you... where are the rest of the stalwarts tonight?
