Jim, I have long suspected that AMD released early Athlons that were intentionally lame to clients, for evaluation, whom they knew would let Intel look at them....assess them, and say "No threat here, back to sleep" because that is indeed what happened. How will I ever get confirmation of this suspicion? It is the thing of legends. Bill
