But, isn't an unregulated frequency band subject to self jamming if it becomes so popular that it starts competing with itself? I mean there is no restrictions on the type of spreading you can put into this band and you can transmit up to 1 watt into a dipole antenna. So basically you have a jamming radius of more than 3 km. If it were to become so very popular in that band and nobody limited me from having other types of radios in that band, then potentially, all the radios could become either jammers or noise interferors with themselves, right?

Even 900 Mhz cordless phones today are getting more noisy because they are getting too popular and the density is getting high enough that they jam each other.
