And once I have bent down to your level of speculation, I will go on, with a little smile: And would it have been in the American interest to let Western Europe go there? Who would have taught the Americans how to build giant rockets to transport nuclear arms, and later, to reach the moon? Sure America would have been able to find all those solutions on their own, they were first with the A-bomb, anyway. However, if Wernher v.Braun had gone to Moscow, it would have slowed down the process in the U.S. and sped it up in Eurussia, and you might not like to live in the world you created with your scenario...
