David- It is heartening to know that an insider, i.e an engineer, has so much enthusiasm for WIND. Since you got in three years ago, obviously you have some beans to count, but from your perspective, what has WIND done to make you proud? This would be a nice diversion from the usual $$$$.
Also, I once was proud of my MAC and the visionary company that made it. My Mac and that company are both gathering dust in the corner. What happenned there could happpen to WIND couldn't it? Bill Gates proves that not-so-nice and not-so-visionary cont4rol fraks finish first, doesn't he? Unfortunately companies that are run by engineers seem to hit the wall at some point. This happenned to WIND and they turned to Ron Abelmann to sort things out. SO , it seems to take a bit of pride and a bit of "control freak" to succeed.
It seems that WIND's fortunes have certainly turned around since Jerry Fiddler handed over some control to Ron, the MBA, around when you bought in. Perhaps, we have a good marriage here, an able Wall St. ego in Ron Abelmann and a proud engineer in Jerry. Any thoughts?
