In this market, the timing of the spinoff will work.

It should be well-received. No major impact to NT share
value, and a gift to BCE shareholders. In another market,
a year ago even, this deal could have blew up in Monty's
face. BCE shareholders would not have approved it. Not now
though. Very nimble of BCE brass to act on and capitalize
on the market. They way he did it with shares instead of
cash is beautiful.
