I believe those that wanted out of JDSU, have already sold. The QCOM blowup yesterday helped speed up that process. Look for many of the sellers to time a re-entry to JDSU. In addition, expect to see a lot of short covering as the stock moves higher.
Then new short sellers and profit takes come into the stock after a gain this morning and then being blown out later in the afternoon. Then we go up big. That is how i see it.
My reasoning is that the weak hands have been shaken out prior to earnings.

Sycamore announces 3 for 1 split. JDSU great earnings and growth rate. I can't say about the rest of the tech sector but optical should soar today.
