The fallacy of the "invest in Cuba" idea is that it disregards the interests of Cuban-Americans.

Given the stranglehold that Cuban-Americans have on US-Cuba policy, it's insane to think that those same Cuban-Americans won't have any influence on Cuba when the change comes.

All you have to do is turn on your news to see how incensed people are over the fate of a SIX YEAR OLD BOY. Imagine how these people will react towards Canadian, French, etc. businesses who are profiting off of property that was confiscated by Castro.

I wouldn't give a nickel for those companies' interests when the Castro regime falls.
