Hi Eric, as a potential Amati investor, what he used the money for is second to why did he sell. That is the important question and the tax answer isn't convincing to me.

I am still looking for the Amati insider buying, to support the theory that this is truly seen as undervalued by those who should know, insiders. It is easy for an insider to say this is a bargin (JS said this when Amati was at 9?), but it will hold water if himself or other directors put their own money where their mouth is.

Since John C. sold 200,000 shares he should have plently of cash right now, because I doubt he spent all of that cash on a house or taxes. Very bad timing if he expected this stock to go higher soon. I don't like the idea of buying JC's shares while the stock is going down.

;o)
