In the week ending Jan. 22, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 266,000, an increase of 1,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 265,000. The 4-week moving average was 288,000, a decrease of 2,250 from the previous week's revised average of 290,250.
Durable Goods Orders for Dec = +4.1%

New orders for manufactured durable goods in December increased $8.4 billion or 4.1 percent to $212.9 billion, the Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census reported today. This follows a 1.0 percent November increase.
Q4 ECI also scheduled for release today but may have been delayed.
