Okay now--Just had a nice chat with Harry Wilcox, pres/CEO of CNSI. Not just the play on GGF2 for MS (which Bayer funds entirely) but also diabetic neuropathy might be the next indication for GGF2--very early work of course and anything that deals with remylenation of the nerve cells is a candidate.
Anyway, that was not the point to pestering these fellas-- I got more specific information on the migrane patch--we should see enrollment into phase II this year and CNSI is looking at other patch companies--so if it doesn't turn out to be Alza, that just means they got a better price elsewhere. We may see phase II with IV delivery also for 5161. Actually, I already had some of this information, but I wanted to confirm it and get it on the thread now with the shareprice trending up, maybe help grease things along, $2 seems a notch too cheap.
Wilcox said that they should be able to go a couple years without having to raise cash, but eventually they would look to do that, so that sounds to me like they wont be selling out to anybody and we can retire the YukonHusky rumor. Of course we can always hope to get cashed out early, but I did not get any hints to that effect. He also confirmed that $4 was the magic number to get off the otcbb, I guess I will take his word for it, and so just for fun, I will make $4 my target for the shareprice.
Hopefully milestone payments here and there (Allergan) will keep an occasional press release coming out of CNSI, and we will hear good news in the months and years ahead.
When my Neuroinvestment trial starts up, don't be surprised if I stop posting to the thread. I just got a bee in my bonnet and made the call because I was so peterbed at the trading on the otcbb--but if I resist churning my account, then that wont be a factor, and if Dr. Tracy keeps tabs on CNSI, and he does, I wont be making any more calls. Great fun to talk to the head honcho though:-)
Oh, I should point out that Alza saw data on 5161 at a meeting and went to CNSI--that sounds like a plus, that they went out of their way to track down CNSI instead of the other way around. Just my two cents. |
