Montello is not a strickly mining company anymore -but that does not mean that they are still not heavily involved in diamond exploration.

The management of Montello have a primary talent of raising funds and promotion -and they are the first ones to admit it. They raise funds and promote for three purposes.

1) To proceed with diamond exploration in Alberta and Manitoba.
2) To proceed with oil development and gas exploration in Alberta
and
3) To proceed with investment in internet ventures.

It appears to me that they are doing well on all three fronts.

1) They have 40% partnership with Kennecott for the entire province of Manitoba. They are patiently waiting for Alberta to come back into vogue so that they can raise interest in the work.

2) The oil and gas portion is being run by a very well respected engineer in Calgary.

3) The internet portion .ca is being run by Dan Power who has a good track record in this area with investment.com. Net-locate is basically run by a separate team.

I see good things (and good money) on all fronts. JP

2) The oil and gas exploration came about as a offshoot of all the data that they had collected on Alberta that needed to be put to use.

3) The internet ventures have cost the company about $40,000 Canadian and now basically are on their own.
