...........I am left to wonder what will come of the R&D money TERN is spending. The only TERN system deployments I've read of are asking $40/mo for a 64kpbs line(more speed can be doled out, they say, if you want to pay more), it had better come to something. This comes to me as shocking news! Something must have been swept under the rug for the 1 1/2 yrs that I've been following this board. After examining how this company's technology works some time ago, I've decided that the technology is adrressing the limited vision of providing internet service, not the larger potential of digital TV and VOD. Now it seems as though they have to throttle what little service they have down to 64kB for the average user. I am not an owner because I've been disturbed about the rate at which this company loses money. The recent stmt shows that when all R&D and intangibles are accounted for, they are not turning the tide of big losses.
