1/27/00 - IMAGING DIAGNOSTIC RELEASES LATEST IN-VIVO IMAGES OF CARCINOMA ON WEB SITE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan 27, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Imaging Diagnostic Systems Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IMDS) announced today that the Company has released its latest in-vivo clinical images. The images consist of breast cancers revealed by their CT Laser Mammography system. These images can be viewed on the Company's web site www.imds.com.

The case studies released consist of different types of abnormalities within the breast. The first shows an Invasive Adenocarcinoma with Ductal and Lobular features. The second case shows a Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS) & Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma (IDC). Histological examination of biopsy specimens confirmed the presence of cancer.

"Both cases are significant because they demonstrate the CTLM(TM)'s ability to produce images based on the optical characteristics of abnormalities in the breast. The second case study is particularly significant because of the type of cancer that was revealed. The mammography in this case only depicted calcifications that formed due to cancer. The CTLM(TM), however, revealed a 1 cm mass that was not seen in the mammogram or felt during palpation," stated Richard Grable, CEO. Additional case studies will be released as they become available.

Imaging Diagnostic Systems has developed the world's first patented laser-based breast mammography system that utilizes state-of-the-art laser technology and proprietary computed algorithms that create contiguous cross- sectional slice images of the breast without the use of breast compression.
