That article is incredible! It is so flawed that AlHunt could have scribbled it. Those flaws are most evident in Ms. Reno's dealings with the FBI. Three troubled investigations highlight her failure to rein in the agency: the investigation into campaign-finance irregularities; erroneous responses to Congress after the conflagration at Waco; and a clumsily handled probe into allegations of Chinese espionage. Failure to rein in the agency? "Justice" blocked the FBI at crucial times! Reno is certainly the most political AG since RFK. But at least RFK had Hoover to keep him somewhat honest.
