re: "ecrm"

step one: supply chain software gets e-enabled

step two: crm gets e-enabled

step three: they get integrated

If SEBL has the vision:

I have no doubt the numbers were managed. As they should have been. Would we see that much higher of a price in the short term if we saw $0.20? Probably not. The sales force was managed with remarkable lack of urgency in the quarter and the pipeline is bigger than ever.

I don't see evidence of SEBL's competitors as much as the street does. BVSN is doing huge business with a fair number of unhappy customers. Vignette can't keep track of demand for demonstrations. But they only solve part of the puzzle. With their lofty valuations, they have the currency to buy the parts they need, so I'd guess they're the ones to watch.

But I know of (and can't discuss publicly or privately) a few private companies that might create interesting situations for vign and bvsn.

But without a complete crm backbone, the solutions are only partial.
