To all,

There is one major application of the Jaz drive that I have not seen discussed.
The Jaz is a great drive for use in non-linear video editing systems. It is fast
(absolutely necessary), SCSI (7 devices on one buss), and holds a pretty fair
amount of data.

I can envision setting up a stack of Jaz drives in a RAID array, 7 megs or even
more. You can cheaply move from job to job without having to buy a large number
of drives. This will be a big area for the Jaz, I feel quite confident of it.

This is my first post on SI, I would like to use it to thank everyone for their
great posts, and the owners of SI for the great service.

Long on IOMEGA!!
