My point is just that this may not be the best time for call selling. Say QCOM has some good news and pops up to 160 in a month...maybe you could get two or three times as much for the call then. Just a thought.

I appreciate your points. I didn't consider the volatility, but I know we might pop on news. From the CC, IJ sounded optimistic that a deal with China would happen before July. Also deal with NOK wouldn't be surprising. I was just a little surprised at getting $5 to $5« for July 250s. As mentioned to Tim, exiting at 250 is retirement range. Also, July is the last month for the 250s. Jan 2001 and Jan 2002 only go as high as 220 I think. Am not comfortable selling those -- too far out, too low a strike. I also wanted to take advantage of the green numbers this morning as I am expecting a Feb correction to start any minute now. May consider buying them back in a nasty correction. Wish I'd sold them on the day of earnings. Could have gotten $12-$13, though I have very good hindsight.
