I've been following the progress of the surgery since the trials in Europe. The results of the surgery have been fairly consistent, given the numbers of people treated. The LVC's function just as well as the practices of individual doctors, with the goal being as close to 20/20 vision as possible. If there were overwhelming problems with the LVC's, you would have heard them by now. The lawyers would be coming out of the woodwork. The best an individual doctor can deliver is good vision, just like his competitors. Also, remember that the LVC's are doing most of the business currently, unlike the haircut franchises which never took off. To get back to VISX, I see it is doing better today.
