I think it's pretty clear by now that Intel isn't binning a whole lot of high MHz parts. I buy Maxwell's theory that this is largely due to design, rather than process. That gives AMD about a nine month window with Athlon until Willamette comes out and puts AMD in a world of hurt. Our challenge as investors in AMD (IMHO) is to time our exit accordingly.

In the mean time, we can enjoy a few chuckles at the situation. I for one find quite comical that Intel has hired Elmer as a consultant to fix its problems, but Elmer refuses to admit that any problems exist!
