I think the Athlon (should we call it Athlon 2?) with Integrated L2 will be closer to Willamettes Performance (as Scumbria has pointed out in single threaded apps at least)to keep the race alive.

I really believe in Jim's TM of Mhz Sells. So if Willamette is only at 1Ghz and AMD is at 1.2Ghz, most people on the street will buy a 1.2Ghz IMO.

It is a very exciting race don't you think?
