Hi Jack. I was trying to make comments relating to the current wave of interest in the optical BW (Bandwidth) race that is occuring. wrt the other players in the industry, NT is a senior. NT has been involved in fibre development for >20yrs. The company even manufactured fibre cable at one time. NT divested from this as not being core. However, significant resources have always been commited to R+D of fibre transport systems. This long term commitment to R+D allows NT to recognize opportunities such as Qtera. Some of the conversations here seem to try and equate NT with some of the infastructure operators. NT has and is an equipment and solutions provider to telecom/netcom/wireless infastructure operators. I think that the current rise in NT can in part, be attributed to increased US investor knowledge in the breadth and quality of NT's products and skillsets. These are just my views Jack, having worked beside, with and for NT in the past. The interesting part about NT... just take a look at their market position in all the sectors they are involved in. NT is ranked in the world leaders in many sectors. Market cap of sector specfic companies tend to distort this reality. Hope this clarifies somewhat my statements. GR
