I sold my entire position over the last couple of months. I have had my fill of UACA. Although, UACA turned out to be a loser for me I continue to see the need for an efficient operator that supplies auto loans to prime and sub-prime consumers. UACA needs to 'can' the gain-on-sale accounting to be taken seriously by the investment community. Yet, as of the Dec 99 qtr, UACA continues to practice the dreaded gain-on-sale accounting to its own detriment. Somehow UACA believes its accountants and their predictive software is smarter than the emotional, unpredictable marketplace. To each his own. I side with the marketplace.
