Phone conversation with Richard Rabins about news release... My main concern was net income of CDN $1.1 million ($.6 million plus $.5 million of amortization of goodwill relating to the acquisition of NewKidCo, LLC) on revenues of CND $33 million. Mr. Rabins stated that, due to several reasons relating to their first full year of publishing video games, last year was not indicative of the margins that they expect for this year. He stated that a margin more in line with their industry averages (10-15% or more) was anticipated for 2000, and he was confidant that revenues would increase substantially this year. Hats off to NewKidCo. I hope that their success continues through 2000 and beyond. They seem to be in a very good position right now. Good luck all.
