Thanks for posting that: much as I enjoy Voltaire's philosophical posts one of the reasons I didnt sell (shame on me) my April calls is because I was looking for that $165-$170 range. I never did see him say sell calls before earnings come out but I saw several say the Q usually does ok after a short pullback after earnings.
Unfortunately for me this is much more than a short pullback.
However I should have sold on Jan 3rd: how high did I think the Q could go before April? So the brain was not working properly and I have noone to blame but me.
Sold half of my '01's today to get the '02's at the same strike. Still have half and many, many Aprils.
Think there's any chance of getting back to the $160 level for the shareholder 's meeting?
If not, oh well!
