Yougang,

<"don't ask what Intel(note) can do for China, ask what AMD can do for my homeland!">

I like this one:~)

I heard AMD launches a sales campaign in China recently. AMD changes Athlon's name to Jiu Long for the China market. I hope people will like Jiu Long much more than Pee whatever:~)

I just listen to the RadioWallStreet.com interview with Ashok Kumar. Here are some bits,

Dell:
- peaked in Feb'99.
- momentum money exit.
- Intel supply issue behind.
- Win 2000 should boast IT spending globally.

Intel:
- Rambus misjudgetment caused a black eye.
- Win 2000 should boast revenue worldwide later this year.

AMD:
- bright side is execution back on track.
- 30% market share is a fallacy, 15-25% more likely.
- Intel will do everything to keep AMD under 30%.
- needs to remain profitability.
- cautious on the stock.

I feel Kumar was very refrained from bashing AMD. Does it translate he is cautiously bullish on AMD in his gut?

Regards,
