That's funny, because I did the same thing yesterday, and noticed LUV lagging as well. High fuel prices definitely hurt LUV's earnings more than the other carriers.

Did you see the news today about all the special Summer rates they'll be offering? I know many people who think LUV doesn't need to offer fares so much lower than other airlines, and I wonder if this latest announcement was responsible for today's pullback. It is kind of surprising to have the stock trading back where it was before beating estimates like it did. Hmmmmm.
