Ref: Conference Call

I listened to the CC. Laura did ask a question. She was one of the first two or three ANALyst.

I didn't catch the names for all the analyst but Helmig from Soundview the last questioner, questioned the guidance of 25% revenue growth. Mulinovich(ML) also seemed downtroden with his question concerning revenue as well. Someone did mention the investment earnings, but they didn't go into detail on the answer.

One person posted here or on the Yahoo board about MR being less than considerate with his answer concerning the release of new products, which has normally happened with this earnings announcement. MR only got testy IMHO, after it was asked by the third straight ANALyst.

My bet on the downturn is the complete misunderstanding of the real growth in revenue without the merger with DG. I felt management didn't press the issue of how great the quarter was with the regular EMC 4Q.

The second factor was the lack of split announcement, (which makes no difference to me) the momentum money said see you later without the expected run up on a split announcement. Just my take.
