Just had a fourth idea- borrowed from Margin Mike. It's aggressive, but if they're really going to subject us to this kind of pain for a while yet, why not 1)sell everything and
2) sell puts? This seems to have a few advantages-
1) collect money off the decline 2) lock in profits made to date and 3) allow one to maybe purchase the stock down the road, at a good price, when hopefully it will be regaining some upside momentum. Also one gets to take some action, instead of sitting around feeling helpless- which is really starting to wear thin!
-clarification on #3- I know you won't get the stock necessarily at the put prices you set, but if you did, wouldn't be so bad to have stock put to you at those levels.
