Seriously, if one has a certain account that is overweight or over aggressive, some margin selling might happen. But essentially there are two facts here.

A) Just about everyone learned his/her lesson from Sept. 98 and will never be caught that unprepared again. In fact a lot of longs I know never bought any shares in the thirties last year (PRE-SPLIT) and a lot more sold any shares they bought in Sept. or Oct. at a nice profit. While this decline isn't pleasant it isn't too crucial for most.

B) The stock is only a bit below where we started the year. If we weren't rocked by margin selling then I doubt we'll have much more now.

This all makes so much sense as you can see the vice tightening on the shorts and this is their last hope. Another wave of buying will hit this industry by March or May and THQ's Q2 and Q3 and Q4 look especially choice. (With our usual conservative estimates.)
