please reread what you posted....for it violates all rules of investing, in essence "buy high, sell low"...great way to diminish ones capital! it ain't supposed to work that way y2k!

if you fear the downside more then the upside, then close the position, or sell covered calls every month until you either lose the stock or reduce your cost via premiums to a level that will calm you.
