keep ORTL in your sights. with all the consolidation in that sector...i see it as a potential takeover by one of the bigger boys...

speculation among traders today that SDLI may be taken over...something along the line of JDSU,,but i seriously doubt JDSU can take that over and pass muster with the anti-trust law. of course, somebody else could buy SDLI, but i see ORTL as a cheaper buy in the same arena.

ORTL has float of 5 million shares,,so that one moves in big chunks. LU has a lot of orders with ORTL and SDLI. LU may buy out either,,,,so we'll see.

JDSU boss likes to paint a nice picture,,so that's good for the company and stock holders.

GLW was on fire today despite market turmoil. a very good sign for the sector.

JDSU, SDLI, ORTL, GLW, MRVC,,,,all in the fiberoptics and held pretty well in this downturn.
