VLNC Short Interest Company 01/00 12/99 %change Ave-daily-vol VALENCE TECH INC 1,997,895 1,824,348 9.5 481,855 VLNC short interest went up almost 10%. Last month we figured CC was short about 1.5MM on the remaining "B" and the warrants. No PR to indicate they've converted yet, so it looks like the naked short interest increased about 175K. I wonder if some of the volume this week has been naked shorts getting their clothes back on? Of course Mr. Bill decided to short some more... Regards, Gary
