Beg to differ...Dell will have no choice but to go with Athlons at some point in Y2000. Dell cannot afford to be uncompetitive in the top end for any extended period. My assumption in making this statement is that Intel will not be competitive in the top end in Y2000 despite all their promises to Dell of a "some-time-in-the-future" competitive PWeeIII top ender!

With Athlons now making inroads into the government sector, major business will not be long in following suit. Dell eventually will be caught up in the Athlon's slipstream!
