If we get some strength at the open we may get a little short covering pop. My take on what went on is the lack of volume after the rise invited some short selling. Shorting a stock that shows poor volume after a gap up is pretty much text book. The text book place for one to start covering their shorts is near the bottom rim of the gap. In this case that would be about $8. I think we seen a little of that yesterday afternoon. With the lack of volume yesterday I don't believe the short positions were all that big and may be for the most part covered. Why didn't I trade it? I thought the Sunbeam and new dryer news was good enough to contain any real damage to the stock price. Time will tell.
