Bob, while we are on this subject, to what extant we need to be politically correct in what we say when we say comments with tongue in cheek?

Also, if certain CNBC anchors take offense to every thing that is said negatively of them, is it SI's policy to appease them because they have a powerful medium than those of us with valid reasoning? For example, Ted David has the audacity to call several Si posters as Monday Morning quarterbacks, wann be broadcasters and self proclaimed experts. When I challenged him for this kind of prejudice, there was no response. When I challenged him to run an Investigative piece that would uncover an accounting scam like the one at Cendent before it becomes news. No reply.

And then he takes offense at my tongue in cheek comment. I am not offended by his taking offense at my comment. But, what I am confused about is where SI stands on this issue. Would you rather have the intellect of your subscriber/member base be ridiculed by a TV anchor with a powerful media voice. Or, let the free speech of your members prevail - especially if it is tongue-in-cheek?
