Yaacov: That just means Europeans are slow to gravitate to new models of distribution. "" John, you could be right, but I think one can deduct that we are different. I printed the same argument on the same thread two years ago. I live in Milan. We are the 6th largest industrial nation in the world, (despite the fact we don't get no respect!gg) and here just about everybody owns a PC. But we have different habits. We like to walk into computer discounts, talk, touch, feel, and bargin! Then we pay cash and walk away happy, paying almost twice as much as you would pay for a pc in the US! This is not because people are not smart to order Dell over the net, but because we are different. Maybe in the next ten years we will change too! If we do, then Dell has plenty of chance, but until then, CPQ, IBM and HP will be dominating the market!
