If you truly believe that you are holding a winner, any short term price swings will not effect your long term strategies
Everyone who trades does so for many reasons;mainly to make a profit. The fact you may be on opposing sides of the street is not any more or less appropriation from anothers point of view. Everyone has to take a stand and live with the results.
Technicaly all stocks need to swing. When there is a high-flyer that had a great run there will appear a point of resistance; the revenue growth and or earnings growth simply can not support the stock price at current levels. There will appear the "Shorters",always looking to throw the dice the other way. It is the way it works.
I often use to hate the idea someone would Short my stock. Now..., I have come to understand the mechanics of such positions and look for my own strategies that best position me for the long haul.

Simply...still learning
