James,

I know the F/A of AMZN matters little but the information provided by the firm about the layoffs is non existant. I have no position as I believe most of the world knows. It would really have upset me if I was a stock holder and the company does a lay off without giving a reason.

I suspect it is part of the "secret sauce." I do suspect they may have a bit more trouble raising cash as the stock price falls. I had just posted AMZN was losing market share is Australia. BOL claims they are gaining market share in Europe. AMZN claims to be the leader in Europe but no comment on market share of which I am aware.

You have been of the opinion that AOL will buy AMZN. Do you still feel that way now that AOL is buying Time Warner?

Glenn
