Profits Triple at Pulp Firms Article discussing Tembec's sales increasing by 31 % and claiming that these are the best conditions in 30 years (Edmonton Journal). Bleached kraft pulp rose to $ 640 US and is expected to hit $ 700 US - up from its bottom of $ 475 a year ago. Interpretation Chip makers will be able to substantial increase the price. TRE could possibly obtain a 50 % price hike or better. It may even be getting some more dough this last quarter. Ya gotta like a company that can make money at the bottom of a cycle, because you know it will make a pi*s pot more during the good times. Cheers
