Greg,

A thought about VRTS eating LGTO's lunch:

I looked at top-line growth for both companies, and in order to account for the shift in LGTO's revenue recognition I used the metric of revenues plus the increase in deferred revenues for the full year. Using this metric I discovered that VRTS grew at an eye-popping 82.8%. But LGTO came in with a sizzling 70.4%.

Those numbers ain't chopped liver. More like pate de foie gras <VBG>.

I wouldn't call that VRTS eating LGTO's lunch. I would characterize it more along the lines of both companies sharing a wonderful meal.

I still haven't taken a position in LGTO, but I'm getting close. While VRTS's numbers look better than LGTO's the price of VRTS is obscene.

TTFN,
CTC
